I am a clinical counsellor registered with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association. My passion is to assist others with learning to accept and embrace all parts of yourself – to figure out, what are the things that make me “me”, and how do I live by them? In this work, I utilize a variety of counselling modalities including parts work, narrative therapy, somatics, mindfulness, and coaching to support your healing and growth.

One of my main goals is to help you let go of all the “shoulds” – the career you think you should have, the goals you should want to achieve, the life you should be living – to make space for what your heart wants. The idea is to get to know yourself without the weight of expectation and judgment. We will bring awareness to the patterns and beliefs that no longer serve you while building the safety required for you to let go and try something new.

Stop Waiting to Be Who You Already Are

Years ago, I was doing everything I thought I was “supposed” to do – making a five year plan, graduating from one of the top law schools in the country, and  getting hired at a leading business law firm. It looked like I was thriving…  But I also felt overwhelmed and disconnected. There was something in me asking to slow down. I just didn’t know how.

Finding a counsellor and learning I was experiencing burnout, anxiety, and depression was validating and eye-opening. Understanding my mental health gave me the permission to step back. It gave me permission to reconsider my life choices, and also the courage to let go of my plan and learn to trust myself.

It gave me the courage to start over.

It gave me the clarity to make choices that align with what I truly want, not what I think I “should” want. I believe my “quarter-life crisis” (as I like to think of it), was a gift that allowed me to go from autopilot to living intentionally.

In these sessions I help you set intentions and goals, and build foundational wellness practices so you can start to feel better right away. If there’s something in your past holding you back, we explore that too so you can create lasting change.  You will leave feeling clear, aligned, and connected with yourself.

These sessions are here to support you in your unique process. This is a space for you to explore your mind-body connection; whether you are working on releasing tension, being more present, or finding your flow, I will create a customized yoga and/or meditation practice designed just for you.
